Hello! Thank you for your interest in my daycare. Whether you are changing daycares or starting daycare for the first time, I understand how traumatic it can be for both the parents and children involved. Finding a daycare that meets your child's needs and at the same time finding a provider that you feel you can entrust with your child can be very nerve racking. I feel it is very important for the parents and the provider to have a very open and friendly relationship to best meet the needs of the children.

To tell you a little bit about my family and myself, I'm 26 years old,  and have two daughters. .My oldest child is Miss.Emma who is 7 years old and is my awesome helper & great at crafts and my youngest is  Miss .Ivey who is 4 years old who loves to eat, run, climb, play with other children and loves to  laugh

I believe in running a controlled and safe, but friendly environment. I am very proud of the fact that children love coming to my house and complain when it's time to go home even when they've been here the entire day.

I have many years experience with children other than my two daughters. I began babysitting when I was 13 when I passed the babysitting course/ CPR, helped many friends and family members with their children, in high school I volunteered at a community complex during march break and assisted other team leaders with 60 plus children per day in an 8 hours per day ( 40 hours a week) with crafts, trips, playing and much more. I have a written letter from the director as well.

I do know how hard it is to find someone you trust and get along with. In 2008 I received my police check from the London Police giving me the pass to work in a daycare facility. I have no criminal records or offences. Feel free to check.

I have an art award from high school as well as a music awards for best section in the band ( Saxophone)

I also received at grade 12 graduation back in 2005, an award for best grade in English for the best mark.

I love outdoors, swimming, arts, crafts, singing, dancing, cleaning, organizing and making children laugh and giggle!

My daycare is a family daycare. Although I have many activities that I do with the children, I do not treat my daycare like a preschool. I  have a family setting and my focus is to teach the children life skills such as respecting others, sharing, polite manners, following instructions, responsibility, anger control and problem management. I feel these skills are mandatory before children enter a school setting. I've know many children, including my own, who did not attend a preschool, but who are excelling in school because of the skills they have learned in daycare.

My children, Emma and Ivey are also very interactive with other Children. They are both very experienced with other younger children as well as children their own age and are excellent role models for other Children as well.  Emma is in Grade THREE and has many friends and look forward to coming home to play with her sister and other friends. Ivey will be entering JK this september 2014.

Thank you for considering my home for your child's enjoyment and development!
